    Ok guys. I’m feeling so guilty.
    I had a logger drop off a load of hardwood rather than scrounging.
    In my yard even.
    No cutting, limbing, loading.

    Do I need to scrape my FHC sticker off my tractor?
    I feel so ashamed.

    All the wood I have been burning for years has been delivered in log lengths. I do not feel any less manly.

    You should be ashamed! Rather then scraping the sticker off your tractor you should just drop it off at my house... May as well bring the logs too :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I think in a lot of ways that's the way to go. Huge load of logs delivered without all the wear and tear on your own vehicle. Go on a CSS bender, knock it all out then stand back and admire your handiwork. Spend the rest of the year doing all the things you could be doing if you weren't scrounging all the time. Sounds good to me....

    When most of our firewood was cherry, I ordered a load of beech from a guy near us, it was money well spent....keep your sticker. :yes:

    No guilt. if you dont have the time to scrounge and can afford to buy why not. If i had the room id make connections with tree guys to have wood dropped off in log length as well as scrounge wood myself. I would never pay for wood though, buts thats just me being CHEAP.
