Good Morning, Brothers & Sisters Thread

Morning all. Another gorgeous day in paradise. Over night the temps drop to almost freezing but daytime temps are summertime ones. We are getting our shots today so I hope to get a few things done around the house before we go.

I was thinking yesterday how amazing answers to prayers are as I watched my Mom walking around using only her cane, going through paperwork, using her computer and discussing various subjects with an alert mind. Her hip replacement and getting off all the pain drugs has given her a new life. It is as if she has shed 10 years. We have all been blessed with the health advances in the last 20 years or so. I look at my husband and see him moving firewood and tackling a new boiler install and know that three years ago, he had a heart attack that would have killed him if it hadn't been for a doctor's and a lab tech's knowledge. And today we are getting protection from something that has killed millions of people and crippled many others from its after effects. God is so good and as most people in our church would say after you said God is good - all the time.

Yes. The water temp is about 5 degrees short of the bluegill going nuts.

We have a ways to go Brandon...probably about 30 degrees here until they go nuts. The ground was white from new snow a few days ago.

Heading up north again tomorrow - hauling up the four wheeler and getting more firewood.

gonna meet a friend at my other place on the other side of Lake Wales so he can store his boat for the summer. I have 27’ under a carport. A bunch of people came back last fall after we had several 6” rains in the span of 2 hours to a boat full of water. Even though they had custom covers on them they became swimming pools.

still might take a trip later or in the morning.

He’s in kentucky. He might come down 1 month a year. He may never visit. After smoking for 50 years he is terrified to get COVID. I might rent it out next winter.

 

Happy Friday! Another chilly morning but sunny all day. 2 interviews scheduled for today. Maybe somebody will show up! Depending on what I can get fixed, plans are string trimming, spraying and hooking up the DR lawn vac to the JD445 for mowing tomorrow. Not idea how much of that will happen.

 

Morning all. Going to be a long day with lots of travel time at work but everyday is an awesome gift to enjoy.
