Sorry to hear about your fall savemoney. Rest up and take it easy.

Happy Birthday NH mountain man. I hope you have a good day. It is shaping up to be a nice one here.

Chipper is being dropped off in a few hours and a friend might be stopping by to give me a hand. I'll barter up some work at his place maybe this weekend.

Yesterday I scratched up the septic area and put down some wildflower seeds. I stopped at the neighbors for a few cartloads of composted horse manure and spread it out. I'll take a few more cart loads and add it to some sandy areas when the grass starts to grow in. Topped with pelletized lime and salt marsh hay. It is very dry here. I watered it in and overnight we had a quick shower. Badly needed rain is predicted over the next few days.

I also am sorry to hear about your fall savemoney , it is tough to need help in an embarrising situation, but many of us at sometime will be in the same boat. Take it easy, rest up and go slow and heal. Take care Larry.

A very Happy Birthday Greeting to you Sir! You must be very busy getting ready for spring planting and wood harvesting. Stay well.

I went to Bay Bulls, NL this morning before work to check out the 749' drill ship the Stena Forth. She's supposed to be doing some work in the oil fields soon

Moving better today. I got the walker out and used it. I don't like it, but it does keep me more stable and gives me a place to sit down. The VA got it for me. Nice fancy one with shock absorbers, hand brakes, and a seat.
upload_2021-4-15_12-52-13.png So far, everything the VA has given me has been top of the line models.

Well, I did get one pile chipped and a bit of a second one done in a few hours. I was all by myself and it really whipped me. The pile had a lot of thorny vines, bittersweet and honey locust. I did get scratched up a bit.

A lot of what I have is dead spruce that would not feed into the chipper. It will burn though. With 1" of rain predicted tomorrow, I should be able to burn that. What I did today made a huge difference, and got the burn area cleaned up.
