    That reminds me....Just 9 days until I can have one of those double bacon corn dogs at the Iowa State Fair!!! :drool: :yes:

    Bacon cheeseburger with onions steamed in foil on the Weber tonight.....should be ready in about 20 minutes. ;)

    Me at 2012 Iowa State Fair - Breakfast of Champions - Bacon Corndog (crumbled bacon in the cornmeal batter) & Millstream Rootbeer from Millstream Brewery,Amana,IA :drool: I didn't really want any beer at 930AM,though some years ago would've had one for sure,on a day off from work especially ;):cheers: :rofl: :lol: The Iowa Craft Beer Tent wasn't serving until 10 AM & I was too hungry to wait.....

    NO, NO, NO Saves, that is not fair at all. Quick, somebody hijack this thread. Use the word BEER. Oops, I think Thistle tried that already.

    We don't eat pork products anymore (sigh) so I wonder if this would work with turkey bacon or turkey sausages? Did you use regular pancake batter or something special?

    Any batter that you please, but it is the Bacon, Bacon Bacon. That gets my attention!:drool:


    I did't know there was any butter but REAL butter. Don't eat synthetic food. :yes:

    I'm cooking those Saturday morning on a griddle on my weber kettle.... and I'm gonna have a beer with them. That's right, bacon and beer all before 9:00 am. Should be a beautiful Saturday. Probably have bacon and beer Saturday evening too. All because of this post.
