3 wks away for work thinking gonna get home and chill for 3 weeks except for a few doctors appointments and taking delivery of a new camper. 2nd day home already scrounged a cord of red oak and a cord of hickory plus a few random pieces of ash. Gonna to meet someone on Wednesday for a possible large score of cherry (2-3 cord). Not sure where the cherry will go.

You get a like just for the title. The wood and camper are xtra bonus’s. Good job and have fun.
Is there a trailer hitch on the back of the camper for a wood wagon?

Nice to meet you Dave! :handshake: My name is Brad and im a hoarder too. The first part of the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem Dave. Although i dont think you are on that road yet. I went down that road but had to stop for a roadside wood score! LOL!!! Sounds like some great wood. Wanna see pics! :ithappened:

I doubt many would like your schedule for work but some really enjoy that and you must to be with it that long. The time off though sounds great and you are making good use of that time.

Great lakes? If so, would you mind naming the ship?
I watch some of the Lakes cam's and have learned a lot of the names over the years, especially the ones going into Duluth.

15 yrs Great Lakes. The last 4 yrs Gulf of Mexico.
I was on the Calumet, Maumee, and Manistee which have all been scrapped. I also sailed on the "new" Calumet (which was the David Z Norton before), Manitowoc (which was the Earl W Olgaby), Ashtabula, and McKee Sons.

Does Ohio allow Tandem Towing non-commercially?

What other states in the Mid West and East Coast allow Tandem Towing?

I would LOVE to be able to LEGALLY Tandem Tow, from what I have researched, Oregon and Washington are the only two of the Eleven Western States that don’t allow it at all.

I have a Class “A” CDL, with Doubles/Triples, Tank and Haz Mat endorsements, I can haul Three trailers on the job, but they won’t let me pull two off duty

    Doug
