These came with the house when I bought it 5 years ago. Theres a 2x4 behind the washer to keep the hoses out of the wall. I had to remove the hoses, then use a long prybar to get the 2x4 out from the back (no easy task) then I could move the washer back and to the left after removing the hoses. After that, I literally had about 1/32 of an inch of clearance to get the dryer out at an angle.

I need to figure out if I can repack the hot water shut off valve next. I had to snug it the last time I shut it off because it was leaking, cant snug it any more, and it was dripping.

It’s interesting spending time with family. Over the years more and more is revealed. Family secrets, stories horrible, hilarious and everything in between. I was talking to my uncle and somehow we got on the subject of the oxen he used to have. Waylon and Willie were their names  When I was really little I’d pass by the barn and one of them would grunt, which sent me screaming back to my mother. I guess one day my uncle had them out plowing somewhere, then they were still in the trailer when he decided to stop at a bar on the way home for a beer (or several). As it turned out, the owner of the bar was also named Willie... So the story is my uncle had a few drinks, loosened up a bit and decided to bust the owner’s stones about having Willie meet Willie... The bar owner apparently didn’t take him too seriously... He wasn’t too thrilled when a few minutes later, in walks my uncle back into the building, leading this big ox towards the bar. Next my half hammered uncle is bellowing Willie, meet Willie!!!! No!!!! Get him out of here!!!!

Yesterday I replaced the plastic edging along the north and backside of the driveway garden as well as along the north side of the house with landscape timbers. Had to run to HD in the big city because I had totally forgotten to get rebar. I had 10 pieces but needed 10 more. I would have bought local, but no one was open. Seams there was some sort of holiday :)

The plastic edging had heaved badly. The piece that is laying down, was not helped along by me

After (the ones cross-wise were already there)

Small hiccup - the ground by the propane tanks is still frozen hard. That last 8' will have to be completed another day.
