We used it a few times. For the most part there were no issues, but a few I can recall. One was we got a live basil plant. Well, they put it in the refrigerated area. Basil is a semi tropical plant, so that plant was wilted horribly upon pick up right after pick up was available. I tried to save it. No dice. I emailed them about this on the order satisfaction survey. They never did contact me about this. Also, I like to pick out steaks and cuts of meat. Their shoppers just grab and go.

Also, I can't remember if this was through wally world or another chain, but we ordered fresh ginger. Well, you don't need much of this root. Typically we break off a couple inch piece when we shop. Well, order picker grabbed a whole flipping root. Way too much. At least it was cheap. I made ginger beer with most of the excess. That was at the start of the pandemic.

I do expect some stuff that isnt right.. LOL.. Hopefully they cant mess hamburger up as far as meat. The prices seem better than other shoping centers and that is helpful. Thanks Horkn

Thanks friends :) ! Holy Cow yooperdave , I ordered some, I think that is them! I recall eating in "italian town" (vs China town) in Cali with WWW's family and they were talking about asian noodles, that all the Italian restaurants there were doing that. That and I might have heard the owner of the little bar/grill had our wedding at mentioning that too. I'm  At some point, will make a bunch of meatballs and freeze them for easy spaghetti dinners. Idk, it's just so easy to pour Blue Parrot and crushed tomatoes etc., add Italian sausages in a big crock pot and freeze dinner portions of that too....

Anyway WWW was out late the other evening and I got to cook :dex: :stirpot::chef: (he likes to cook and is a relentless back seat driver when I cook-that said his food is delicious, I just miss the correct tastes, he Italianizes all and every dish). Taco salad, next one is porcupine meatballs/carrots/potatoes pressure cooker, and at some point, original pot roast w veggies. Muaaaahahahahaha

I used them a lot starting right around this time last year as they were the only real option I could find regularly for contactless groceries at a reasonable price. My only gripe was that some of the substituted products if you selected them as an option were their own crappy brand which was not nearly as good. I was buying once every two weeks for a family of four, so it was substantial amounts, and there was almost nothing missed that I can remember.

I use it several times a year after they finally started doing that here, I don't get to town so scheduling with WWW is a pain in the rear. It's a great service. Just FYI, they substitute items you order that are not in stock by the time they gather your order. Once they gave me 3 expensive little McCormic garlic salts instead of the large generic brand I had ordered, and they match the price on substitutions, whichever price is lower, cool. 2 other times I ordered finely shredded cheese and they subbed big shredded cheese, no thank you. I also get tripped up on produce measurements sometimes, like I wanted a big head of broccoli, they picked one single stem with one crown   I really like it for me anyway, even with an electric buggy cart going through that big store exhausts me and my hands and feet go cyanotic & numb (Raynaud's) because it's cool in there, and the refrigerated aisle is just no fun. Also I always have to ask for help loading the groceries into my truck at check out when I shop in person, and usually have to wait a long time til someone finally shows up, this pick up service they put it in my truck automatically

Also they have a phone app that your supposed to "check in" on. I'm clueless and don't want my phone location on anyway so I don't use it. I pull up and wait a few minutes and someone comes out, or I call the store to "check in" if the pick up area is busy.

I think I will be using the Walmart service fairly soon. I cant leave Barbara home alone so this will be much better than the worry of something going wrong in a store. Thank you wildwest and Mwalsh9152

You really don't want to use asian udon noodles for an italian red sauce. That's where you use the bucatini. Jm2¢

Gotcha, I get it :) We'll see, it might be weird, or.... I am used to weird already? Might have to relearn how to stir fry in a wok, it's been decades. The bucatini looks delicious, but the noodles I was looking for were not hollow.

After work I unloaded the ash from the trailer so I could get the splitter from my buddy's.

Did all that, and even split a few rounds of the ash and the few norway maple rounds I got across the street from work the other day.

I'm getting prepped for the arborist to drop the ash trees on Friday.

I'll run the ariens tractor tomorrow as that will be used to pull on the line for the tree. The battery is all charged up and it turned over pretty well even before I trickle charged it.

I've got saw gas, bar oil, gas for the tractor, and once I swap chains on the dolkita, I should be set.

It's going to be a chilly day.

Went to a budget meeting last night. Things did not go smooth.

Same here...well, actually its done now, but we do have a little white coating out there...daffodils don't look too happy about the 30* temps either! Supposed to be 30's today, 40's tomorrow, and then right back to the 60's and 70's :hair:
