I fired up the ''steel'' leaf blower the other day, it had honestly sat idle with gas in it, for about 3 plus months, flipped the choke on, pulled it through 2 times, 3rd time it started and running like a swiss clock. Its a old BR420 backpack model. I bought it from a friend of mine and he'd used it since it was new.

My Husky leaf blower just started on the second pull. It sat for 72.35 days. :p

Whenever I’m the mood for a prolonged high intensity cardio and arm workout I reach for a Husqvarna.

Mine takes a lot of pulling if it has sat for any length of time....maybe 10-12. Once you have it started for the day, everything after that is 3 or less.

If you are looking to some light duty work...doesn't get much easier to start than an electric saw. As much as I don't want to like them, they are handy for what they are.

My snowblower has an electric start, maybe you could slap an electric start on your saw...? Might be fun. ;)

I have an older Sachs Dolmar chainsaw that has what they call fuel injection instead of a choke. It is carbureted but when you turn the choke lever you are actually enabling the fuel injection.
It will start with in a few pulls no matter how longs it sits. I believe it is a 120SI Dolmar. Good strong running saw. I have another one also and I believe it is a 114 I Dolmar.

On the first video my favorite part is when he kicked the saw. Cracked me up.

He said it's never let him down before. What a way to treat something so reliable until right then!

That is why I never go to the mountains to cut wood with only one saw.
He was frustrated to say the least.
I have been there but never kicked my saw. That was funny.

Obviously this guy knows his way around a mall better than a saw

Collared shirt, ripped jeans, loafers, probably no socks, phone in pocket seems kinda obvious it’s not maul.
I have met a person who didn’t know how a shovel works.
