Morning All. Rainy dreary looking day out there this morning. No walking. I am not sure what I will be doing this morning. I thought Men's World curling championship games would be on but that is next week. Maybe there will be baseball. I am sure I will find something to do. There is always bookkeeping and house cleaning.

Good morning everyone! We will have a windy day in the high 40's. I have to bring more wood into the basement. It's not over yet! We still need a morning fire, and sometimes an evening one too.
Had a good time with my grandson, as always. We dyed some more eggs. This may be the last hurrah for that. I hope he's not too old for it next year. I hope he gets back into Lego at some point, too. Have a decent Monday!

 

Morning All. All day yesterday it was rain, wind, SNOW, hail and sunshine. Looks like we still have remnants of the system still here this morning. But I got it FINISHED! and hung up. Here is a picture of the quilt I have been working on for the last little while. I started it about 30 years ago and it has the names of the women in my family. Kind of a quilt and family history project.



I think our project today is plumbing the boiler. I hope the distribution box is ready to be picked up.

Good Monday morning! Apologies for being MIA for a few days. My lovely wife and I took road trips Thursday and Friday. I spent all day Saturday splitting and cleaning up the wood yard. I think I need a vacation! This morning was frosty, only getting into the 50s but sunny and still beautiful. My wife's uncle passed from COVID early last year. He had purchased an old fire truck that he was fixing up to donate to the local VFD where he volunteered. His widow is donating it tonight so we'll be on hand. The big plan for the week is maintenance on the JD445 mower. Looks like I'll start mowing this weekend.

 

Thanks for the compliment. It has a few construction problems but I thought it turned out well.
