For me, it was yesterday about 12:30 when I got the shot. Lady said I would probably have a sore arm at least. Nope; no side effects at all.

Its calm here now...spent over 2 hours cleaning up and put the covers back on two stacks...plus the rack that had the metal cover ripped off...one screw broke, the other pulled out (on that one end) and it flipped the rough cut Oak 4" x 4" x 8' post off that I had on top...fortunately the screws on the other end held, so at least it didn't blow away. Lost a few shingles off the attached garage, had one of our nice patio chairs go flying and get broken...also found a piece of our siding trim across the road...that's about it...nothing major really...sure glad the trees weren't leafed out, I think there would have been much more tree damage.
We really didn't get much rain out of this one.

Same here. With my COPD and Cindy being diabetic plus both of us being way over weight. Add that to our age, if we were to get covid, it would be domes day for us both. We have been mostly isolated for a year. Now vaccinated, it is going to be a real change once our society is ready to allow us to get together again and not be in fear. I think I picked up a few habits that I'll keep that should help to avoid other infections. I hope that there is some hope of getting a vaccine for the common cold.

glad to hear that Dennis. Ive been hearing that the second shot, or the J&J shot give some nasty effects.

Like what kind of side effects?

I'll get mine still, who knows which one, since my employer got them available for all employees, but I'm doing it during the work day in the afternoon, and only Monday- Thursday. That way if I feel like crap, or puking or crapping or both, it will be on a week day and not my precious weekend days. I'll "zoom" in on the daily meeting. We use Microsoft Teams, which has the video conferencing and a whole lot more.

I got the Pfizer and Cindy got the Moderna vaccines. First shot, nothing, second shot, both of us go the red spot on the arm. No pain, no malaise. Glad we both have it over with. Mid April the state will opens up shots to anyone 16 and over. That should shut this virus down if enough folks get the vaccine. Still plenty of folks holding off for one reason or another. I know folks who are still frightened of getting any shots. Too bad for them and those around them.

I felt like a wet dish rag is the best way I can explain it for about a week, with slight aches. Nothing "bad", just lack of energy. I know others felt like they got a touch of the flu and a very mild fever but it went away. I'm at the 2 week mark today so things should be easing up. Lot's of water though, I've been bailing it in...

First tick a few days ago here. I'll stick to the paths out back with the dog. I'm probably going to make some of those tick tubes soon and stick them around the barn. The one I had on me was a deer tick.

I spent the day in the attic doing some more framing for the bedroom. This 2 x 6 was another that sat around for a few weeks up there.

I think I'll be ready for an inspection in two weeks when I have a week off.

BIL and family stopping over for a small cookout and s'mores this evening. We haven't seen them since last fall.

It was a great day to be working outside, but I have to get the attic work done and insulated before late spring. I could split the last half cord of spruce and hemlock if the weather isn't foul tomorrow.

I'll tell ya, I'm kinda in shock about that, you and Warner seeing ticks already. I'm sure my place up in Winchester has them already then. I'm 300+ milles away from you guys and I haven't seen one yet. I've been to my gun club 3 times since last monday and usually I pick them up putting up targets on the range boards. Nothing yet. Wow! o_O Good luck you guys. I've had the Lymes disease, and it ain't NO joke!!!
