Pretty good trade for giving the road dept supervisor turkey hunting rights, since I'm not into the gobbler hunting thing. I get first dibs before he lets other people in to cut. I may grab one more load, but may just leave it to others. My neighbor tiled 30 acres and had the excavator push trees into the woods. They're fair game and pretty close. This load is mostly maple, not sure if its hard maple. I can only tell by looking at the leaves.

Some of these are huge. Lift capacity of the 844 loader on my MX5100 is rated at 1200ish. I know I can lift a tote with 250 gallons of water out of a truck bed and that is around 2k. It's sketchy, but it can be done with the loaded rear tires, 300lbs of wheel weights and the brush hog. The ones circled in red won't even think of being lifted without halving them.
Maple will never be any heavier than right now, sap's all up in it. I'd leave the big stuff & snag the rest if it was me. Dries fast & good heat.
Be very hard to pass that up. Easy access and open to work in. Looks like you have the right rig for it too
