Got two more loads today. Everything I got this weekend was mostly oak with a little ash, cherry, and black walnut mixed in.
T100 No rust, in good shape, with tons of birch around, nice! Great picture of the truck from the back. I'm supposed to be a Toyota guy but I went with less cost all around and more horse with a lifted Tahoe I found instead of the Tacoma. Better for pulling the boat.
I'm probably adding another Toyota to my stable. A friend is moving and offered me a deal I can't resist. When I got home from work tonight, it was sitting in my driveway so I can test drive it and look it over tomorrow.
Someone's unoccupied van caught fire in their driveway and rolled blazing through the neighborhood. No one was hurt. Saw it on the news.
This definitely isn't loaded unless you count the pallets but it's my first roadside scrounge so I had to show it! Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
What truck is it? Here's my vehicles. I had another 89 4Runner Special Edition (only made in Canada) before the silver black one, repainted purplish blue by previous owner. The 89 in the picture was 2 inch body lift, 31 inch tires, 1 inch wider riders than 15x7 stock
The wood there is Red Alder. I'm shocked Blacktail said they (Dropped) the trees. He's a west coaster , we (FALL) trees here.
Not a truck but it is loaded up though. Some Paper Birch that was dying that I felled. Top third was dead but most of the bottom was ok.
Ive cut it with MC below 20%. The stuff ive been hoarding lately has been 18-24%. I cut one smaller trunk in January that was 15-18% and it got sold. My BL customers were very pleased with the dead barkless stuff. If a trunk of a blowover stays above ground and bark falls off it will dry. Most of the barkless i cut was from old green blowovers, some dead and some is storm clean up logs left on the ground. This should be ready for next Winter. The wetter wood im separating out and will get stacked on its own.
Too beat up or wanted too much? Man, those things can be pricey for a used vehicle! Hold their value well
FJ Cruiser is big money...any Toyota or Lexus truck is big money. Interestingly, Lexus was at first a luxury car line, now they sell mostly SUVs.
