We're down 3inches YTD already. Send as much as you can!

There's rain showers in the forecast for later this week. A d again on Sunday.

I spread some Turf Builder with halts, on the lawn. Then, I scattered Holly Tone around azaleas, rhododendrons, mountain ash, and blueberry plants.

I expect to broadcast some compost around the lawn. Probably tomorrow, after circling rhubarb plants with some.

One thing I NEVER do is fertilize the lawn. Mowing season should start here in a few weeks and that means I'll be mowing twice a week until July! Darn stuff grows like weeds...of course half of it is! :D:hair:

Morning All. Lovely day yesterday. I spent the afternoon in the garden. Garlic is up and I think I could plant peas this week if it doesn't rain. Weeded the rhubarb and top dressed it. Didn't get any sewing done. That will probably happen today if it rains out. Grass is getting long enough to cut but it has been so wet. We need a week of no rain.
Years ago we had a small lawn that was always yellow and spindly. I got the bright idea to fertilize it. campinspecter ended up mowing the lawn twice a week all summer. It looked great but it was a lot of work.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon all. It's 59 out but no sun. Feels cooler than that. Took Holly for a run then came back inside.
This is the area we are moving wood out of. Chaz has a good start on it.

That is where the pole barn is going.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. 1 night down, 2 to go. Had 2 of our grandsons come over Monday night, enjoyed their visit 0322212014.jpg
We started working on the loader bucket yesterday, took about 3 hrs with cutting disks, torch and grinders to get all the brackets off and ready to weld QA plate on. Going to pick it up this morning, split and stack a few oak chunks in a bin. Then nap time again...
Lend a hand, share a smile, be encouraging

Good morning everyone! It will be a cloudy but warm day, with showers overnight (I hope). More yardwork is the plan.
So, the zoning board approved the two houses in back of me, with stipulations: the have to be one-story, and they have to be 70 feet from my back property line. We guess we can live with that, although I'm not looking forward to the construction. We'll put up a solid fence, right now there's 6' chain link. We won't have to run it the whole way, just as far as the woodshed, which acts as a screen.
One other abutter spoke up, a lady who lives next to the lot in question. It will be worse for her, the closest house will be only 10' from her property line.
The impression I got of the zoning board is that they're pushovers, they just approve everything. 93XSKCJ.jpg
    Have a good one!

Is your chain link fence in need of being replaced? If not, there are inserts to make it more of a solid fence.
