BB5DEC65-D836-47B3-9DC1-3B0E08934D35.jpeg For me, firewood and snow are inherently connected. That and the pursuit of winter sports means I’m always sad to see the last of the white stuff go. We had a pretty good snowpack here in north jersey. Sled guys got some seat time and the ice fishermen got to hide out from the wives.

Here’s the coldest spot on my property and probably not the greatest place for seasoning. I thought it would be fun to have a picture thread to see who has snow the longest.

We have about as much as you, very very little just spots were it's very shaded, was mid 60s yesterday but 40mph winds and sunny and low 60s today. Now rain the next 3 days. So I'm guessing all the snow and most of the frost will be gone out of the ground.

I have three roofs that are almost entirely clear of snow.

Pretty much gone. Some may still be around in well shaded areas. Found some under a mound of splits today.

My field still has 3 to 4 inches in places and some areas around house a small amount. Where there is no snow the ground and drive are very soft.. It got to 60 with sun today and it felt great to be out with no jacket. Its still early so we could still get snow again.:)

I've got a small glacier in my front yard still where it's always shaded. On the side of my house in the back I still have a small pile about 2 feet deep which was slowly built up all winter every time I shoveled off my back deck. Other than that, it's all gone.

Green. As in grass. Tall tufts here and there.
We’ve been known to get 12-15” at the end of March, beginning of April but if we do I’ll be out there with the 500k BTU weed torch removing it.
    And cussing.
    There will be cussing.

For the most part ; finally none. Unless you count the ugly piles in the shopping center parking lots.
Finally dried out enough to get back to outside work and let me tell you " I am not complaining " !!

Snow is all gone but there is still frost in the ground. The rain the next couple of days should draw it out.

Are all those tall tufts wild chives? Do you have those in Virginia? Might be fun to munch on some chives while torching the backyard and cussing. 'Merica :usa:

The snow went fast this year because it all came as fluff rather than the heavy wet crap. So we have no snow now and only an occasional spot in a very few roads with frost still coming out. Ponds are all ice free too. Trees are budding fast.

But this does not mean the snow is done yet! We will get more.

There just wasn't the amount of snow that there usually is.

    That's the difference.

Even the shaded spots are bare now.
