No sign of my rhubarb yet. I'll pull back the bark mulch, and circle the plants with my own compost. Put back the mulch, then watch and wait.

 

Happy spring Saturday morning! Split a little wood after work yesterday. Cool morning but sunny. Got first coat of paint on the bathroom this morning. Now at basketball travel league game. More work outside later.

Morning all. Coffee is working, slowly getting out to cut a load from the ranch. Rain all week, but sun today. Middle son had surgery Thursday and is doing well. Thank god.

 

Good afternoon all. Sorry to hear your son had to have surgery but glad to hear he is doing well.
My brother came up with his 18 years old and grandson. He lives in town and likes having his bonfires. So the grab the cart and off they went to get some wood off the hill.
Chaz is moving wood using the kabota. Sunny and 46 out. Next few days are going toget warmer so I make it outside yet.

Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all have had a SUPER SATURDAY. Beautiful day here, windy, but blue skies. Of course, I'm at work...lol...
At least there is some daylight now when I get off, maybe I can at least look at the woodyard.
I need to smooth down the burn pile area and get the splitter set up again. Make a new rack for cooking wood, got an order for pecan, oak and a little cherry, they will be cooking butts May 5th.
Still have all the regular sheds to fill up. Looks like a busy spring and summer for us again.

Good afternoon Jeff. Beautiful here also. While my hubby, brother and great nephew were in tee shirts. I opted for a heavyweight sweat shirt. I did get out in the sun for a couple hours this afternoon. Poor Holly is out of shape and she is pooped.

Good morning everyone! Had a great day yesterday, I got 9 yard bags filled up. Today I'll have my grandson. I think we'll go to a playground, haven't done that in a long time.

Morning All. Raining this morning. I think we are going to have a quiet day today. I have almost finished my quilt project and I hope it is today that it gets finished. It was a busy week coming and going last week so I am hoping we stay at home for a few days. I got a notice that my potatoes are being shipped. Ground is way too wet to even think about planting. Between rain showers I might go down and see how the garlic is doing.

Good morning everyone! It was a sweet day yesterday. I had to pinch myself! There were a lot of people at the park we went to, and it felt odd, but nice. I don't think my grandson has been around so many kids for awhile. He spent a lot of time on the playground equipment. We stopped at DQ for ice cream on the way home.
Today, more yard cleanup.

Morning All. Over cast with rain threatening. It might clear up somewhat this afternoon. Yesterday went differently than I expected so now I have two bags of potting soil, a bag of Orchid mix and six containers of pansies. I also have a RV cover to repair as we took it off the RV Friday. It has started to rip along where the awning unit is. Every day is an adventure.

Happy Monday morning! Sunny and cool this morning, going up to the mid 60s. Another beautiful day. I'm working on payroll today. After work, I need to split several big rounds vertically and get the wood yard cleaned up. Dump cart is full of rounds I cut in the backyard yesterday plus some in the truck from roadside scrounging. I'll be lucky to get all that done.
