3 work nights and yesterday... got to play with the saws. And bring home some good wood. Near my work, there either upgrading water or sewer system. So clearing out trees is what caught my eye... plus no limbs or brush to mess with. Night 1 Got a hedge tree and a Walnut tree..
Then yesterday I took the trailer for the final round at the easy pickings.... got 2 small Hedge and one red oak... before I went to the big oak... I saw it on Wednesday night but I guess it was either too big for them to pick it with the bucket truck... but it should be easier for them now...

Yea, truck definitely knew that there was a load back there & I knew once I was trying to jack it off my truck’s ball...
If thats a little score id REALLY be interested in seeing a big score. Some real nice firewood there! If i didnt know any better id think the hedge was black locust. No hedge in these parts.
Hot dang! Way to get it while you can. Nice big old walnut, even though it isn't great heat producer, that hedge and oak will make up for it.
Do you have a lot of hedge in your area? Seems like I’ve read several times that you were burning it. I’ve found a couple hedge rows here but haven’t got any. Bucket list stuff for me.
Yep quite a bit, but hard to get your hands on... They were put in for property boundries, as a sorta of fence...
