    Good morning, everyone.

No sign of snow here. I'm ok with that. Temps dropping from low-30's into the 20's and lower in some areas. Breezy. There's a layer of ice on the deck.

No real plans for today. Maybe some grocery shopping.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! Yeah, like Mike said, no snow. Fine with me. It will be a chilly day, with wind, but it's the last one before a stretch of 50's and 60's! Almost the end of stove season.
I have some poplar to burn up, that'll work.
Maybe some splitting today, if it's warm enough in the sun. 1O4mLv9.jpg

    Have a great day!

Happy Friday! Sun returned today and getting a little warmer to prepare for spring. I have an interview in an hour, then trying to find more candidates and writing policies. Should be staying home tonight so hopefully a little quality time in the barn. That should lead to splitting in the morning, followed by middle school basketball later in the day.

Morning all. Snow is pretty well gone except where it has been piled up. Warm and rainy outside. Chimney is installed and approved!!! Yeah!! now the plumbing part. We picked up pieces for it yesterday. Had the brakes replaced on the front of the Corolla. Big difference. Busy day yesterday.

Putting together the children's packages this morning, then projects this afternoon.

    Everyone have a great day.

Sunny today with highs in the 50's. Small fire going to take the chill off.

Ugh...sounds like a nasty sinus infection now. Hope you get over that quick.
We had a little rain early Thursday morning and a little wind that morning. Stayed south of us.

Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all have had a FABULOUS FRIDAY so far. Working 7AM-7PM this weekend. Finished installing the new additions to the laundry room yesterday. Just got to get materials to build a cover cabinet over the water heater and probably one for the clothes hamper. 0318211601.jpg
The burn pile did well, once we got it going...
It was smoldering a lot yesterday, so I stirred it up with the tractor. 0318211100.jpg 0318211101.jpg
There were a ton of coals under that ash. Probably could have cooked a couple hogs...lol... 0318211643.jpg
Wind got bad last night, started blowing lots of embers around, took tractor and piled some dirt on top, everything is safe...

    Verse of the Day
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
    Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV

Thanks for all you do for the children.

I really enjoy it. We put together a video story on Facebook and then we create a package with a printed copy of the story, colouring pages and simple crafts to tie into the story. Right now we are talking about the sanctuary so we found a great sanctuary model pattern so the children could create one with all the pieces. The pastor's wife is the one that comes up with some really neat crafts. Last week she put together the pieces for edible High Priest breastplate with jelly beans for jewels. When we did Moses and the Red Sea, we had Moses as a graham cracker teddy holding a pretzel staff crossing the graham cracker sea with graham fish on blue icing on the sides of the path. Looked great and tasted good.

We don't have in-person church service up here in British Columbia so the parents play the video for the children and then the Pastor and his wife deliver the packages to the families.

One of the things I like about doing this is that I have to study to make sure my stories are biblically accurate so I am learning as well.

    Good morning, folks.

Coffee tastes good, washing down a hot-cross bun.

Should be a sunny, warm-ish day. Good for a walk.

Good morning everyone! Got nothing done outside yesterday, too cold. Today will be different, something special about today! 1KLpCxx.jpg
I'll make the most of it to welcome spring, still have lots of yard cleanup to do.
    Happy equinox!

Sounds good. I have resisted buying or making any. I always wash down more than one bun when they are available.

Morning All. Looks like the rain has let up for the morning for awhile. We may be able to get a walk in before breakfast and church. Real spring weather - rain one moment and sunshine the next. My bulbs in pots are starting to bloom. Rhubarb is sprouting leaves so it is time tomorrow to mulch them with steer manure.

Jesus said " While I am in the world, I am the light of this world". John 9:5

    Happy Sabbath everyone.
