So far there have been no after shot complaints. Less problems than the first time around. Hope it stays this way.

Morning. Allergies finally got me down. Trivial compared to what others are going through. Hope everyone in the south stays safe.

    Good morning, all.

Upper 30's to start. Overcast day with rain later this afternoon. We've not had rain for a few weeks. It'll be welcomed.

Snow overnight into tomorrow morning. 2-4 inches forecasted.

I'll head back to my folks, to get some more red oak left behind by a tree service, that had trimmed near some utility lines.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Good morning everyone! I planted some pansies yesterday. Tonight they'll get snowed on. Just an inch or two. This was March 8, 2018!

Today I'll mess around outside until it starts to rain. We really need it, it's been very dry.
    Have a great day!

Happy Friday eve! Yesterday was beautiful. Today is cooler (40*) with wind and rain (.5"). I managed some time during lunch to hook up a chain hoist and lifted a 15 gallon gas caddy in position. Now the fuel flows freely without pumping. Today? Music practice at church tonight so not much else will be accomplished. Should make for a busy weekend.

Good morning brother. That sounds good. Will you let the gas caddy down when it's time to refill?

    • Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TREMENDOUS THURSDAY. Off today, so more work on the house. Got the under house work done yesterday, hooked up water supply and ran drain line to laundry room. That was fun, had to do the watermelon crawl a few times. Working in the room today, installing bigger water heater and washer.

    • We did get a chance yesterday evening to burn that big bark/junk pile. 0317212001a_HDR.jpg
    • We camped out in the truck last night, kept an eye on it, didn't know when the winds might get here. Still burning/smoldering today.

That's the plan. It weighs next to nothing empty so I can throw it in my truck and take it to the gas station. When full, it's a little awkward to pick up and set on a platform with wheels (it just wants to roll away!). The platform is 2' high plus casters so that puts it above the fuel tanks for the log splitter, mower, Gator, etc. I think it will work pretty well.

You're making progress brother! We bought new Maytag washer and dryer set last year. We've been happy with them.

Just started to rain. Scrounged wood unloaded.

Not too bad for a 2-load effort. Not bad for me, anyways.

little add on, the only ''glitch'', i was curious if i'd missed the Dr's call, i had erased all my calls on the phone yesterday, called this morning, the nurse told me, ''appointment was cancelled'' reason the Dr had surgery today!! Thanks to my wife, i called or we'd been at the Dr's office 40 miles one way, for no reason. We were within an hour of leaving, when i called. Made sense, they told me in the Dr's orders i could put weight on my foot with the aid of my crutches, and the ''moon boot on'' which i did some what yesterday. And it felt sooooooooooo good to be able to do that. I was about at the end of my rope. having to depend on crutches and no weight on my right foot for 2 days short of a month.
