His 243 is a Remington Model 600. His 30.30 is a Marlin Glenfield Model 30A. His 22 is a Winchester Boy Rifle Model 03. I think a 410 and a 12 and a 20 will fill out his collection all nice like.
In case you guys are wondering, his mother and grandmother have forbid me to buy any handguns for the lil guy. If I am still breathing when he turns 18, I will fix him up in that department at that time!
I have 6 handguns. 45ACP, 44Special, 38Special, 9MM, 25ACP, and a 22LR. Three are revolvers and three are semi autos. I am sure he will get some of them when he is older.
You should build up a 7.62x39 ar-15 for taking out the coy dogs. I love mine. It's a fun gun and cheap to shoot.
I might have ARs in 7.62 or 5.63 or they might have been in tragic boating accident Did you not see safe?? In basement
I own three in 350 Rem Mag, 243Win, and 308Win. I was able to lay my hands on 160 of these beasts in Chicago a few years ago. It was a rush I tell ya This 600 collector was kinda eccentric and he tried to sell me a complete set of 600’s for money way above my pay grade
Our son and a plumber buddy were up to our cabin this weekend. They drove into the closest town to buy some fittings at the hardware store. He found they sell guns also. The clerk let him handle a stick mag Tommy gun with a $3000 price tag on it. No thanks. I had no idea they were that pricey.
Yeah that seems pretty high! Don’t know about the older original ones. But pretty high for a more recent production one. I got a friend interested in getting one, so I’ve been checking them out a bit lately. ( never had reason to pay attention to them before, so I’m not real versed on em ), anyway, looks like $2000 would purchase quite a few on gun broker. There’s actually one for sale in my town for $2000, comes with two cases ( violin and square) and 2 magazines, 100 round drum and a stick mag.
Sounds like you are doing great things for your grandson. I always thought my grandfather would have taught me to shoot but he never had the opportunity. He left me an over-under in his will but it never got to me. Make sure to have those moments, they are over too quickly.
