Buy one, buy all 3 for a collectors set! 38cc 14" Bar $50 41cc 16" Bar $60 45cc 18" Bar $70 Bar scabbards are included with each unit. I have extra chains for these saws that I will sell as well. All prices exclude shipping from 12566. All three run and operate as they should. The 38 and 41cc units are bone stock but tuned properly. The 45cc has a non-cat dual port muffler installed that helps it out quite a bit in the power department. I have the original catalytic muffler if you wanted it to mod or use as a paperweight. All of them are in new or near new condition. These are great yard cleanup saws, and limbing saws. The 41cc is actually a really nice little saw to run but I never got around to porting it and making into a little monster. Do NOT expect ANY of these to cut quickly in wood over 4"-6"(actually the 45cc does well up to 12"), they need muffler mods, chain upgrades, and port work to realize their full potential. They are a steal for someone with the time/skills to make them roar. I hate to see them go but I am tripping over saws and need to clean up the garage. The 38cc 14": The 41cc 16":
If you don't have a 14" saw in your current plan, snatch this one quick. Turns out these lil things are handier than pockets on underwear. With a muff mod and re-tune it cuts pretty well. You'll soon wish you had a spare to strap on the atv, or keep in the truck.
As Grassguerilla stated above, for the money, these are hard to beat and run pretty well with a Muff mod. These are rarely available online at these prices and as MM stated, they retail for over $150 at Menards and other Hardware stores that carry them.
What would shipping be to 08088 NJ on the 41cc. Always liked these little buggers, if shipping is cheap enough i'll grab it off ya
I ran my modded DP m suffer 45 this weekend cutting limbs and small wood. It kept blogging randomly like a bad carb...then I saw a pretty good fuel leak... time to pull it down and check lines. Only run pure gas in it but not sure about previous owner...for the 5 mins they ran it.. ok back to the sale.
If SmokinPiney decides no on the 41cc I would be interested. Also what's the weight difference between the 41cc and the 45cc and how hard is it to find a smaller bar for the 45cc?
Smokin has declined on the 41cc..... Big weight difference between the 41 and the 45. Smaller bar is no problem for either, I have a 16" Husqvarna bar that fits the 45cc, K095 I believe is the bar mount for it, same as the smaller Husqvarna mount.
Can't go wrong for these prices. I'm happy with my 38cc. Didn't do a thing to it but put gas and oil in. My 45cc needs some tuning and a muffler mod, just haven't done it yet.
For about $20 you can get a dual port non-cat muffler shipped to you. Use it as is or do a very easy mod to the baffle from the inlet side and call it good. Way less time and aggravation than monkeying with the original, which needs to be split, gutted, 2nd outlet added, and then brazed/welded back together. Of course, if you have the time, then by all means get hacking on the original.
Yep I also got the DP muffler after Dex posted he got it. Did a bit of hacking on the baffle and the installed it. Carb was already rich enough for it and I could not believe thedifference. In the earthquake thread i have some before and after timed cut videos. I this k it was 20-30% faster with the DP muffler over the OE cat muffler. It also sounds awesome.
