One of the two loads of locust I CSS yesterday before the storm hit. Got about 8” of wet stuff. No more CSS for awhile
WOW!!! Those are some gorgeous splits. Hand splits nicely from my experience! Id love to find money HL, but mostly a yard tree in theses parts from what ive seen. Doing great with that score DH!
Yes. Just did a rebuild a year ago in my 93 6.5 dump a year ago. nearly undetectable block crack, thats a common problem too. Not many good choices of diesel motors overall in the BIG THREE diesel realm.
The county dropped and bucked some alders on the side of the road. I didn't even have to start my saw.
I’d never take wood that’s cut up like that. Today’s load: Saved one full size round to race the Hacked Up 365sp and the XS one. Dad was completely tuckered out after this one. We had to carry it about 30 yards to the roadside. Well worth it imo!
No. But I got a couple loads in this same area last year too. It's the right combo of a county maintained mountain road with no private property around (cuts through a national forest). They take down trees that are likely to fall on the road from heavy snow.
buZZsaw BRAD What tool is sticking in that piece of wood on the right side of your PU, above your tool box?
