YA!! They are already all the way through Plus WWW got 2 of our elderly neighbors driveways (not whole drive but a lane to get to the road) as well as hello's and waves from them so we know they are
We ended up with almost 40 inches of snow all together. I measured 39" today. This was the first time I got Frank buried yesterday. Took me almost an hour to dig him out. A couple of times, I got him so buried, I had to pull him out with my truck
Yes, every day. Our last one was such a great companion and hunter, it tore our hearts out when we had to make the final decision. I just can't bring myself to do it all over again. My wife would get another one in a minute.
Ha ha. I bought Frank from a friend who was going through some hard times in 2008. When I brought him home, my wife said he looked like Frankenstein because he is green and kinda square. The name stuck I call him Frank the Tank. He’s a freaking work horse. He gets used hard.
Glad y'all are doing OK. Once in a while we will get a 2 foot snow dump here in the Interior. I have seen 4' in 10 hours on the coast. One winter we got more than 29 feet of snow @ the place we were living in Hoonah. I shoveled more than 16' off the roof of the house we were renting. Cash, is your 4 wheeler a 650 ?
Yep! It’s a 650. Suzuki motor. It’s a TRV. So it’s a front to back 2 seater. It’s big and heavy, so it’s a great plow quad. I’ve done 65 mph in it. Tows like a mofo. It’s a beast. I use it almost every day. In 2003 we got 7 feet here. Took two days to clear a path to the road from the house. We get 2’ to 3 foot storms all the time. Not sure what I’d do with 29 feet though!
This is mine. Pretty sure it's an 06 . It's my high speed tractor. I had a snowplow that I made for it for several winters. Your right it really pulls hard.
Sounds similar to my Yamaha Grizzly. Lots of power! I also have got 65 mph but don't like to run it that fast or that hard. It is 10 years old. I do find since I bought a golf cart the atv doesn't get run as much.
When you want to talk to somebody specifically, put a @ in front of the name and it will tag him. Cold Trigger Finger. Just a little tip.
Those Grizzlies are really nice. A buddy of mine down the road has one. He and I plow a few disabled neighbor’s driveways together. It’s a great plow quad too. He and I are always outside when the snow flies.
Look like your doing alright Cash. I spent all day digging out with my tractor today and can finally get to a main road. Stay safe and warm.
It seems you got hit a lot harder down there where you are at Cash then we did up here in Wyo where I am. We only had around 32 to 34 inches. It is going to be a muddy mess around here when all this melts off. Well good luck and be patient.
32-34” isn’t anything to sneeze at! This was really heavy, wet stuff. I can’t complain. We needed it. The good thing about living up here, is that the ground is granite and crushed granite. So it drains really fast. We don’t get too much mud here. After the snow melts, the ground is dry in a day or so. I had an uncle that lived in Michigan when I was growing up. After even a relatively small snow storm it was muddy there for weeks! I remember being a small boy and walking in mud almost up to my knees. Glad you came out alright. Stay warm as well, my friend!
Picture from my neighbors house where we used to live. Our house is the cream one up on the hill behind them. Got a bunch there! BAH!!, looks like the new owner cut down the big pine to the bottom left of our house, the one we took our wedding pictures next to
