Good morning everyone! Hoping for a warmer day, so I can get outside. Yesterday was impossible. Just kept chucking red maple into the stove all day.
I'm down to my last frozen bag of yellow cherry tomato sauce. It's the best sauce for salmon, or any fish, with some crumbled feta. I grew a lot of yellow cherries by accident last year, after I bought some mystery plants. This year I'll grow them on purpose. IMG_20210316_1511.jpg
    Come on, summer!

Happy Tuesday hoarders! We got sleet yesterday and are starting cool this morning. Supposed to make it to 50* today. Bathroom painting presented some challenges last night so I'll be back at it tonight. We're having some St. Patty's festivities at work tomorrow so I need to pick up a few supplies. I've been trying to get outside to split some more firewood but the schedule hasn't been cooperating. Hopefully soon!

Wife and I will be leaving shortly to get our second Covid shot. Church council meeting this evening rounds out my day. We got a couple inches of snow yesterday but I will not do any snow removal cause it will be in the 50's later this week. Mother nature put it there, she can take it away:thumbs::thumbs:

Good morning all. 31* out. Actually had a dusting of snow this morning. It stuck so not quite spring yet.
Got the loan paperwork last night via email. Will sign electronically. Had issues with it last night so talked to the loan officer this morning think we got it straightened out so will do them when Chaz gets home.
Have our lined up to do the leveling. He also does cement. We need to get a final quote from the Amish as plans have changed since we got original quote. Chaz needs to do a diagram for him.
Chaz has started to move wood as it is stacked right where the pole barn will be going.
    Have a great day.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.

So excited for you two! I wish I had a pole barn (and a few more acres).

Thanks Molly. Doesn't seem like we are getting anywhere but in reality it is just moving slow. Gotta keep in mind that the ground is still frozen.

So easy. I blanch and peel the cherry tomatoes, but you don't have to. Cook the tomatoes down a little with some garlic, and pour into a shallow dish. Add a generous amount of crumbled feta.
Put fish on top, breadcrumbs if you like, drizzle with olive oil, bake at 350° until the fish is done.
    Serve with pasta or rice.

Good morning everyone! Up to 50° today. I'll be re-raking the front yard. We had high winds, and now there are pine twigs everywhere. We get rain late Thursday, but nothing near as bad as what is expected in the south. No hail, tornadoes, thunderstorms, etc... Stay safe down there!
I think I'll throw some fertilizer on the garden beds before we get wet. Almost time to shop for pansies, too.

Good morning sister. Happy St Patrick's day to you as well. Say a little prayer for those affected by these storms. I'll get to be home with Miz Carol.

Happy St. Patty's Day! A little warmer this morning. Going up to 65*! Bible study at church tonight so I'll probably grab a bite with Mrs. WinonaRail after. Made some green punch and distributed Irish-inspired goodies to the offices this morning. Should be a good day!

Morning all. Busy day yesterday. Made a quick trip down island to pick up black steel pipe and sort out chimney issues. Hopefully by tonight our boiler will be hook up to the chimney and the plumping will start. Yeah!

Surprising that we still have snow on the ground but the temps are going to be mild with rain starting on Friday. It is slowly melting away.

Grandson turned 10 yesterday. Doesn't seem possible. His mom posted a video when he and his sister were quite a bit younger and it was so funny.

    Everyone have a great day.
