Filling up my Friends Shed.

Regulars here have seen pictures of this shed before. Three bays each holds 3/4 cord. He burns less than two cord per season. When a bay is empty i fill it up for him. Normally he likes hickory, but this time he asked for oak so im filling it up with heartwood splits. Had some 2.5 year seasoned white oak
The rest of the stack was 1.5 year old red oak. Have to dig out some more splits to fill it.
Bay on the left has year and a half hickory. Bay on right is less than one year dead hickory.

 

Nice work! Full woodsheds, no matter the size are a beautiful thing.

 

Maybe I should build a shed,,,,friend.

Id help you fill it up...but with your firewood! You'd need a shed the size of...well a big shed!

Trademark stacks Brad! Not a whole lotta air in those things I like the shed too. One or two more bays and it would hold what I burn in a year.
