Not much here either, just made a last minute run to the mailboxes a few miles away, thin layer of snow on the asphalt but I saw black asphalt tire tracks behind me. The dirt part of the road was not as warm and melty. That's it for us for a few days except if the wind dies down enough to taxi hubby and kiddo for sledding One last ashpan dump on the pellet stove for a couple days hopefully.
I just saw the forecast for y’all’s overall area- blizzard warning where you are wildwest and 12”-18” for you Cash Larue.
We'll see how far off our forecast is accumulation wise either way, but for sure either a snow falling blizzard or ground blizzard here (from already fallen snow) will likely happen at some point regardless of the snow fall amount. We're not planning on going anywhere but I already have old static line ready to let our puppy out front to potty instead of loose in the back yard since the sliding glass door will have a ton of snow stuck on it vertically
HA! I see cows all the time going to and from here, but tonight, alot of cows were moved to different pastures. The cows followed me to mailboxes where I stopped, a couple moo'd and sounded demanding I told them sorry guys, I am not the hay truck but I doubt they understood. Hilarious and cute (fat happy pampered cows with plenty of coveted dead grass/hay, whatever you call it here) but still following the white pick up adding pic soon, one shot from my drivers seat but they were on 3 sides, with other cows still arriving from following the lead begging mooing cows.
About a foot so far, but it's stalled and coming straight down now. Probably another foot by the morning if it keeps up, but not a record breaker. I-70 is closed E & W from Silverthorne to Denver, but that was expected. I plowed earlier, cleared my drive and the neighbors, do it again tomorrow but thankfully, the snow isn't too heavy so far. As long as I can push it and not have to fire up the snowblower, it's all good. Just another decent snowfall. Hope Cash isn't getting nailed, his area can get heavier dumps than me on these up-slope storms. Saw a report an area west of Laramie was getting so much snow, they'd be covered until May. Lake Hadder, Hawthorn,?... started with an "H". Not sure if that report was legit though. Aaargh....
I was a 6'4" 175 lb 30" waist guy leaving HS. Freshman year of college I got up to 210 or so. Yeah, I hear you on the mid section. That's where I concentrate my efforts to lose weight ever since I turned 40. My first couple years in college is when I gained leg muscle. My wife calls my legs "tree trunks". I'll say that it makes finding jeans difficult though.
I'd say pics " in the blazer" after the beans scene re-creation would be a horrible idea. Outside, making great use of that wyoming wind factory is a much wiser choice.
This morning the drift behind Lacey was ~2', the next pic is this afternoon after wind started and blew all day (not as fast as predicted thank goodness), that drift is now 4' high. Notice both the trampoline and underneath are now bare, who knows where that snow was blown to The puppy is really unsure of what is going on and what happened to her backyard in the first pic, I didn't realize it looked so weird. Finally around 6 tonight she finally made a jail break through the 4' drift to the back yard, too cute, several victory laps around as fast as she could Hopefully she finally did her business.
I just looked at that first pic again. OMG lost it, full out can't breathe with tears laughing. Had to pause the movie. She looks like a wet cat rat thing on a dog body getting ready to do #2.
