    It was one of those things that I still hear the sound and feel the pain!

    Kind of like running up a ladder and finding out with your head that the scuttle is closed on the hatch above you....Navy days.

    IMPORTANT TIP! No matter how hard it may be, hang onto the ladder rails on your fall back down to the deck below.....:yes:

    I'm of an elevation I'd need a step-stool just to read the model number.

    I'm so used to ducking, I really don't hit my head much anymore. My GF's mom is short....like 5'1" short. She has two ceiling fans in her house which will hit me right across the forehead if I don't duck. I met Jim Mcllvaine years ago after his not-so-great NBA career was cut short due to a knee injury, as we were both members of Midwest F-body group. That dude was tall......standing next to him made me feel like I was a midget. :jaw: It was actually quite intimidating having to look up to talk to him! Super nice guy. I didn't even know he played ball till somebody told me. His plate on his SS said XH2OSKR or something along those lines. He could drive with his head completely sticking out through the T-Top looking over the top of the windshield. :rofl: :lol:

    Yep, short guy problems. I was about 5'7" from 13-23 years old, then a bike accident and a reconstruction of my leg afterwards left me at just under 5'6". My 16 year old stepdaughter is about 5'10" so if I ever have to get firm about something, I hope I never have to say "don't you talk down to me!" :rofl: :lol:

    Hey Yoop, just been busy. Stuff that was put on hold during the election has been released, so I'm working structural stuff for new commercial projects.
    CRV has been great so far, just at 25K and purring like a kitten.

    Now for this 5' of snow in the next few days. :hair:

    Could make him walk the plank if these firewood hoarders would leave the plank alone long enough! :hair: :rofl: :lol:

    Hey, just practicing for that stupid-"Talk like a pirate day" thing. Now..

    Aaarg, we've doth heard his prostestations, and laddies...... we've heard better claims from the seal cubs we've clubbed.
    A plank walk would be a fitting end, but he'd be but ballast to the end of those fine Oak planks, they have a finer demise than that.
    A shackle and shot, but do what you will. But before you act........... make him burn Pine in his stove. Aaarg..

    I forgot- :rofl: :lol::loco: :crazy::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I can relate. Us tall guys don't have it as glorious as the shorter people think we do.

    Yeah, I'm 6'4" and I was in the same store aisle as fortmer Bucks player Dragon Bender. He's 7'1". I'm not used to have to look up to people. It was weird.
