An average storm here is typically between 6”- 12”. But we get a handful of 2 plus footers every year.
I lived in Stamford at the time. All the guys in the house invited their girlfriends over and we played beer pong and grilled for 4 days while they cleared the roads. Good times!
Sounds like a fairly stout item. I like the receiver mount. That was what drew me to it. Easy to slide on when I want it and set it aside when I don't. Thanks for the info!
First thought is poor Mz Buzzsaw!! Second thought Is I can see you around the afternoon of day 2 pulling out the saws and cutting splitting and stacking the legs off all the wood furniture in the apartment.
I have a hard time picturing a 5 foot storm, especially this late in the season. You guys must have snowpack up there well into June (or beyond?) Nuts. Where I'm at, I saw 71 in my town today. Back to reality in a couple days though with lows in the high teens and low 20s. There's still some firewood to be put to use this year. Good luck and yes, pictures!
5 feet!!?? That's beyond crazy... 75 here with red flag warning. We went from slop to bone dry fuels in short order. Hope you stocked up on needed supplies in case you get stuck in the house, and dont want another little cash running around....
We do keep snowpack in the shaded areas well into summer. Several inches of snow fell here on June 8th last summer. But we get so much sunshine here that snow typically melts pretty quickly.
The totals keep going up and back down. A few days ago they were saying it would start snowing today and go for 5 days straight. Now they are just saying basically Friday night through Sunday. Wish I got paid a lot of money to just throw numbers at the wall and see what sticks.
I still saw a report of up to five feet on TV this afternoon, yes the totals change but this will be wet heavy chit which can cause a bunch of damage. We usually get one before winter says goodbye but never three to five feet.
Wooo, my hometown, and previous town before here are going to get walloped! Such wonderful memories. He's going to fill one of the gas cans that is low (generator) and we're due for groceries anyway, that's tomorrow. Glad to see it, we've been so dry this year. tinder dry. Anything that made it can have a long cool drink!
The reports are ticking back up again. Why can’t anyone seem to accurately predict the future? I’m seeing on the news that pockets of Boulder county are expected to get between 60-90 inches Right now they are saying 48-60” in my area. Always subject to change.
