I was thinking something similar, he has the know how and equipment to handle those biggun's...A lot of folks don't!
We have truly been blessed. My F-I-L bought a yard machine 25 ton splitter in probably '99 or '00, split 1 big oak in his yard and wanted to sell it. My dad bought it for $500. 1st splitter I had ever used. My dad also finally bought a new saw in '97/'98...a Stihl 029...we still have both and still use them. My dad passed in 2001. My FIL passed in 2006, my hunny used her part of his life insurance to buy the Kubota tractor and harrow. If it hadn't been for those 2 guys, we probably wouldn't be heating much with wood, surely not tackling to big stuff.
