Winter, spring and summer are just like autumn to a chainsaw. It doesn't matter what season it is, it's always Fall.
I cannot go to the mountains during winter and cut wood so it gets done mainly during the summer months.

I'm in the same situation. Where I been cutting in the forest is about 4900 elevation. Hasn't been a tough winter, but still way to much ️ snow
The 590 is a great saw. Alot of people really love them. Easily the best bang for the buck for a new chainsaw purchase.
