    my old furbaby, Blue doberman, she is 12 and will be 13 in May. Her name is Daisy and
    last May I thought I lost her. She lost feeling and strength in her rear legs. A week at the vets and she was walking again but she will never fully recover.
    Doc thinks it might be spinal myelopathy so dunno how long she will be with me but she still is making a good effort at everything. I'm blessed she has been with me as long as she has.

    They are the best.
    Tough to see them grow old ; been there and no words to describe the feelings we all have for them.
    Sorry to hear about this type of thing ; I know where you are coming from.
    They are such good friends words cant even put it into perspective.

    Love that her ears aren't cropped. I think that gives them so much more facial expressions and personality. Of course I might be biased since back in the 80's my ex and I "inherited" our roommate's dobie and she didn't have cropped ears. She had issues, but was the best dog she could be after what the first part of her life must have been like.
