Good morning everyone! It will be a great week, with warm air moving in. Today, not so warm, but at least the sun's out. I'll either split oak, or do some raking, maybe some of both. Plus, the usual dump run, errands, etc.
We eat a lot of boiled eggs in the month of March.I don't know how many of you buy Easter egg dye kits, but there's a great variety. Some of them are like mini science experiments. All for a couple of bucks. ZLVMi1E.jpg
    Have a decent Monday!

Happy Monday hoarders! Cool this morning. Getting well into the 60s today. Getting taxes done after work. Raked limbs (twigs) in the front yard over the weekend so need to pick them up and haul to the burn pit while the weather is good. That's on the agenda tonight. Got a little splitting done late yesterday afternoon so the stack is shaping up.

Morning all. Not raining yet. We had a great day weather wise yesterday while the lower part of Vancouver Island had sleet, hail, rain and thunder storms. I hope we miss that kind of weather today.
Hopefully we will get our walk in this morning and then it is chores and curling watching on the agenda.
    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon all. Started with 8* and up to 40* so far. Might go a little higher. Sun is out. Chaz is going to go drop our taxes off and get some dog food for Holly.
For the pole barn we are going to have to get rid of an old shed. A friend of ours stopped by for a short visit yesterday. Will be interesting to watch. It is an old wood shed. Guess he plans on jacking it up and backing a trailer under it. Won't really have to worry about traffic as it is all back roads to his place. Only a couple miles away from us.
    Have a great day.
    Stay healthy and stay safe.

The oranges haven’t been picked here yet the trees are loaded with blossoms. I am completely surrounded with a giant orange grove. The smell is intoxicating.

They used to use them in bridal bouquets. Funny they don't smell like oranges at all, at least I don't think so.

    Good morning, everyone.

Above freezing to start the day. Mid-upper 50's, later today. That'll shrink the snowpack. Warmer as the week goes on.

Taking my mom and dad for their 2nd vaccine shot this morning. That'll lessen concerns.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

It was down to 27° yesterday morning, TWC says 33 now, probably 31 at the house, heading to 70.
Hope your parents do ok with the 2nd shot. Have heard of stronger reactions to it.

Good morning brother. Bet all those orange blossoms do smell good. When do they normally pick the oranges?

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Off for 3 days now, got several things to do, cut wood among them. Hope we can get an eye appointment. Need some more eyes to put on...
Maybe we can finally get the part needed for the tractor loader.

Good morning everyone! It will be a beautiful warm day. I have a dentist appointment in the middle of it. But I'll get plenty of raking in!
Yesterday I pulled leaves out of 3 flowerbeds where I have a lot of bulbs sprouting. Things should happen pretty fast these next few days.
The cat has been going outside again. And something ate the baloney that I left on the patio last night. (Not my cat, she doesn't like people food.) OVPFY2f.jpg
    Have a great spring Tuesday!

That brings back a lot of memories. My parents had a winter place (we're from Indiana) in Sebring before they passed. There was an orange grove behind them and another across the road. I loved waking up in the morning and smelling the orange blossoms (before it got too hot to keep the windows open). I always enjoyed visiting.

Good morning! A little warmer this morning (no frost). High expected around 68*. I love spring! (I know it's technically still winter.) Got taxes done last night. The federal refund is $44. I told the lady it's better that a kick in the teeth so we'll take it. Time to start putting out the outdoor furniture and try to spruce the place up tonight. Also working on building some larger compost bins from my large supply of pallets. Plus a little sanding to do in the bathroom. There's always something to do!
