Wow! That is expensive. I’m glad I’m retired and don’t need to drive much.

That's challenged. Those tire sensors are horribly unreliable and cameras......seriously. windows and mirrors served us well for many years.

Snow plowed up my driveway :headbang: not to mention the civic partially across it. I cannot wait to get that fence extended.

Yes, we have it on hand. He just wouldn't take it on Friday. Saturday he would eat drink water, and took his med. He was already playing a bit on Saturday am. Today he was having a great time playing with Hayden and our neighbors dog Cocoa, the Springer Spaniel.

Busy day. Almost ran out of time to swap out my brake pads. Had a sandwich for dinner and it reminded me of my early years working on my car, my friend's and work vehicles. I think my sandwiches back then had more grease or oil on them, then butter or mayonnaise. :)

Just have a windshield wiper to swap out before leaving for Colorado Wednesday.

Wouldn't bet on that (the building part). It takes a L-O-N-G time to get something like that approved between local & state governments before it can even go o the EPa to boot back for more considerations, much less actually break ground. They take away coal, heck, my area is trying to take away burning trash (from local dumps) for electricity (emissions cleaned and scrubbed), and won't let natural gas lines run (nimby), so even trying to build a plant isn't hardly feasible. It took 10 years to allow wind turbines in the town next to me - and that was an "easy" project to get thru.

I would guess in this case, not only would electric costs skyrocket, but rolling blackouts would become the norm.

Firewood and pellets about to become popular again, with oil prices rising as well.

The cameras are super nice, especially when hooking up a trailer. I also really like them for many reasons and I drove truck many years so am very accustomed to using mirrors.

In addition, watch folks backing out of parking spots in large parking lots. Mirrors make this much, much easier, especially for those with neck problems. Wide angle viewing with camera. Also think about small kids getting run over. If a few lives are saved, good!

That said, I am against forcing people to put them on older cars. Leave that as an option.

Colorado Springs for a couple days and possibly Denver, although I'd rather not go up to Denver.

I don't hate the cameras, but I can honestly say if I had one I'd be making pretty minimal use of it. Some are decent quality, some I've seen are so fuzzy, especially in the dark, they're useless. My only gripe with them really, like a lot of similar devices, is that for younger people who've never had to drive without them, some of them will be so used to depending on them, and then when they malfunction, they'll be helpless without it.

The tire sensors on the other hand, I really dislike, not the basic idea, but all my experience with them has been they're chronic liars, always going off even when pressure is perfect. Maybe others have had better experience with them mind you.
