I can't handle all that cold. I saw where you almost mild frostbite...I'll take a fan and lights any day.

Looks great. We split on the smaller size too, fits better in our stove and we have several older customers. Dries faster too.

buZZsaw BRAD is the stacking machine. It's easy to stack in a shed, that's how I get away with it. 0923201950.jpg

Thanks Jeff. It’s been a blessing having the opportunity to cut what I have this year. It was fun to see that fencerow to completion too. When I started, I wasn’t convinced that the contractor wasn’t going to show up any day to finish it. Lots of felling too!:tree::saw:

Do you sell your smalls or burn them yourself? So you always separate anything N kept round from anything that’s split??

We burn the smalls, there is some in those stacks this split.
We usually separate everything. Good splits go in sheds that are sold. Uglies, cull splits go in another shed for us or firepit/ free wood.
Some customers ask for a few smalls/kindling pieces

It's a beautiful sunny 45 degree day today, with very low humidity. Splitting the red oak continues.

Sometimes smarter not harder is more productive. 6-8 weeks would sure put a damper on things!

Got out this morning for a few hours after the weekend up north. Fell a 27” diameter read oak and got the top taken care of and some of the trunk bucked. Pretty greasy on the way out! C3790728-AB09-4CA9-A839-2A872999DA97.jpeg 9F8AF906-97BA-4852-AD4F-9665967B5CCF.jpeg
