Well, thanks for all of the moral support. I picked up my 500iR today. I ran the first tank doing some light noodling. I hope I can get it into some real cutting soon. Keep up the honest feedback and stories.
Ive yet to noodle with mine. I cut some locust this afternoon and it chowed through it. Third tank of gas. Enjoy the saw!

Noodled with it for the first time yesterday with good reason. 21" DBH shagbark hickory. 28" bar and i pushed it hard. Sorry no pics of the the noodled logs. Ran maybe another two tanks of gas through it bucking and noodling.
