Picture 9659 is the second damaged Cherry I dropped yesterday, picture 9660 is the Cherry damaged by the ice storm, 9661 you can see the cable hooked up to the tree, 9662 & 63 is after I yanked it down with the Rhino, 9664 is what was left standing,9665 is after I bucked it up and the load headed out, picture 9668.

I hope to get out Monday & finish bucking & get a start on splitting/stacking all that Hickory/Red Elm that's been piling up for the past few weeks.Finally got the regular mowing done last weekend,still need to mow the main trail.Plus there's 2 more medium sized White Elm snags that need dropped.With any luck I'll at least get part of that done. 85 & quite humid here today,clouds help some.Forecast sounds perfect for next week though - 75 to 80 with low humidity.Pretty unusual for late July-early August around here.But I'm not complainin'
Get it when you can, I'm seeing people who rely on delivery of their wood, are just getting delivery for this burning season.
Nice catch on the damaged trees. That Rhino looks like a handy tool. Cherry makes a lazy flame in our stove and we enjoy the scent from cutting, splitting and burning. It's just one of those cool types of wood.
