It took months of work and confidence/acceptance from the dog (and with the owner's permission of course.)

He has also offered us the opportunity to take her on walks but we haven't done at all. She doesn't respond well to vehicles! Very strong.

78# of mommies lil girl, a rescue, got her at 4. Huge difference between males and females.
Learned that only males used in police work as females won’t leave their person! She was abused BUT is living her best life. Won’t even hurt mommies 4 # rabbit but she will pick him up and PUT him in his cage!!

Not surprised about the rabbit. Shepherds were named for being livestock dogs and are used pretty widely outside the USA for that job. I've had GSDs and GSD mixes that would do that with cats (pick them up gently then place them elsewhere).

Well, this dog kind of did the same thing with a rabbit that foolishly wandered into it's yard.

Picked it up and put it into her belly one mouthful at a time!

We have a Golden Retriever / Rott mix. Black all over, call her Bear. She will be two this spring. She is food driven for sure! Carries everything. found the clip on ice cleat my wife lost and brought to the door! (got her before she chewed it up!). She has chewed every solar light in every flower bed, has destroyed the two flower beds beside the concrete steps to the back door as they were in her way of jumping on and off of the top step evidently. She has been worth the frustration.

I was going to comment similar here, socked in, almost dark in here. Since then the snow falling on the mountain moved. I told my husband last night, don't worry about the crews, it's only a 10% chance of snow and 0.00 accumulation. I was wrong.

But, the snow is pretty, big fat spring snow flakes falling down, we rarely get big flakes and the rarely fall straight down.
