Got out just before 10 this morning. Fed the husqvarna a cherry first.... 62B16FDA-9CA8-4434-9287-362039A31F39.jpeg A379F4DD-976E-431C-9564-0DCD1AC6278A.jpeg
    Followed by a red oak.... D37A848B-9905-4A30-9EB4-0F7C1382ED35.jpeg A65A1CCB-1AB4-44A0-820C-E7939646529D.jpeg 0B4D2A5B-BDCE-45CB-8094-567FA42AC38C.jpeg
Last pic is what’s left of the white oak. Hoped to get two loads out today but it was pretty greasy heading out a little after 1, and I didn’t want to leave ruts. Plan to head out early tomorrow just to haul. Hoping for at least three loads before it gets too thawed out! Beautiful day in the woods!

School pickup and the thawing attributes of the sun interrupted dinner, so I had to settle for homemade mini pizzas:rofl:  Trust me, the husqvarna wasn’t very happy about it!

Looks like someone else put in some work today. I’ve never had the opportunity to cut any cherry. That’s some nice looking wood for sure.

Probably better not to start. It’s like a drug:rofl:  Cuts nice, splits easy, and burns nice. Like amateur cutter says, it can be brushy, which is my only complaint. Tons of little stuff too that comes off of every branch, twig, and even the trunk:hair:

Trust me, when the day comes it’s replacement will be no less than a half ton:rofl: :yes: You’d crack up....I didn’t want to take the load to my wood yard cause it would tear everything up in the mud that late in the day, so I brought home and she sits in the drive with a floor jack under the rear to give the springs a little relief/try and save face with the neighbors:rofl:

That's a lot of nice wood there! Busy morning.

I had a 1979 chevy K20, 9in of lift on 37s... Trust me, tossing green oak rounds into it is not a easy task :BrianK::rofl:

That’s one thing I’ll miss is the bed height. It’s the only reason I can get some of the rounds I get in there!
