Im guessing it doesnt matter if you changed the draws one side to other. Sure seems odd looking at the pictures.

Yes, we hoped so too! But then the other drawer would not close. Maybe the company will ship me a new drawer face?

Hope the company sends some parts out quick. Wish I had a answer for you.

Oh Thanks, I do too, if not, I'll take the drawer out & glides and use it for a cubby, just hope they will because I really need the filing space (the metal rails inside the drawer are for hanging file folders).

Dad had a few words to say to the city today....

We had a snowstorm yesterday, his road was only plowed at 3:45 this afternoon. Around 5 this morning, a dump truck with no plow came to salt the road, with a good many inches of snow on it :loco: . Dump truck got stuck in front of his driveway. He missed his days work.

I can see how that would pee him off. Are there many houses on his road?

At least 40 I think, most of them attached to each other, plus 2 fair size apt buildings

Serves them right. Hopefully it knocked some little measure of sense into them.

In Jan 2020 when we had the worst snowstorm in decades, 3 feet in the city, and state of emergency for a week or more, dad's road wasn't touched for days except for one path. Well, i cant really blame them there considering the extenuating circumstances. What I couldn't get over though, the private contractor doing the apt building at the top of the road (cul de sac) actually managed to get through it with a plow on a Ford pickup. Kept backing up, gunning the truck, slamming into the snow, till they eventually got to the apt building

Yes, crazy. that amount of snow had to have been an insane amount of work for the truck even just in the parking lot he was getting paid to do. That storm was one for the record books, I only got about a foot in my driveway with a few higher drifts, a blessing of location. but in the higher elevations and away from the coast it was crazy. Out front of mom's is basically the collection point for all the blowing snow there, and it took me and her boyfriend 7 hours together to clear the 100 foot or so (guesstimate) footpath. 6-7 foot drift, and it got even higher and harder when the plow piled it up....

Took the same amount of time, 14 hours alone, to do my 400' driveway.

This winter has been a lot more normal to mild thankfully, but it was a pretty good fall yesterday another one coming tomorrow. Well, you know what they say about March, if it comes in rough maybe it'll end mild.

probably would have went even easier if he made the first pass with the plow16-18" off the ground.

Sunday- Richelle had a birthday and chose to spend it with us. Always having her handle machinery or tools, which she enjoys.

Threw a curveball and got her a bouquet. Probably first “young lady” thing she has received. She preferred to drive the tractor over flowers, but accepted them graciously.

I think the eyeballs on her shirt is some computer ninja theme.

    Happy birthday to her!

But, next time, if she wants to preserve the flowers a little, have her "box press" them instead of driving the tractor over the flowers!

    :D   :p

True. That said I have been burning non stop in the insert today. I reloaded this am and apparently my wife had it going really well at the mid day reload. Apparently 78° is too warm for her.

I just reloaded and it's 18° outside, and 76° in the stove room. She's literally standing right in front of the stove.

I'm sure she'll say it's too hot soon. However, I did just turn on the ceiling fan, which really helps since that's in the stove room.

That's just such a gift giving her trade skills. An incredibly able woman here, Snowy Rivers that runs heavy machinery, semi's, and is a certified fire arms safety instructor. I have two personal friends, both happen to be 5' or just over 5' tall and weigh nothing wet, but both are certified for big machine things like road construction and the other from the Army is proud of her shooting skills too. What a gift teaching them all you do, life long payback.

She and her sister are black belts, and can shoot. For their graduation gift, I am getting some game birds, and one of the guys at work has a pointer. Going to have a day of bird shooting. Her mom wish she would realize what a pretty young woman she is, but als9 appreciates how independent and strong she is

don’t ask her opinion of something if you are afraid of the answer. You will get both barrels.
