I would be interested to know any dealers for Husqvarna or Stihl that are on this site. I am looking at models of both to purchase soon (MS461 or 372Xp or 365) and didn't see a dealer section.....I do however overlook things quite often. A little help would be appreciated...:emb:

I haven't contacted any local dealers on the Husqvarna's yet as I'm still waiting to hear back on availability of the MS461 from the other thread I commented on. I just want to cover all bases right now as I still haven't heard from the dealer in Dublin yet...

Do you know of any dealers on here for either saws?

Are you in the Augusta area or So Georgia? Husqvarna has the rest of the state pretty well covered with a decent cluster around the atl.

I see that Stihl has released the MS 400 which would be another to consider.

I have both stihl and echo several of each and I can honestly say that I have never had any problems with either. I will say that echo is by far the better value and the build quality is equal to or better.

I would buy the 562 because of it’s physical size and power.Dolmar 6100 would be my next choice because of it’s power.

Yup I did !! My new 661 sure seems flimsy and I'm not seeing the premium price justification.

Isn’t that a Given with pretty much anything Stihl??

I don’t have much time on my 562XP, but I bought it because of @Skeans opinion of them, I’m just a firewood cutter myself, and dabble in CSM, with the 3120XP, and 395XP’s, but Skeans makes his living with saws, and the 562XP is one of his Go To Saws. He runs up to a 32” B&C cutting D Fir, Alder and Cedar. I haven’t worked mine hard, but Skeans certainly does, and he is a Big Believer in the 562XP. He is relatively close to me, and cuts similar to what I do, just a whole LOT more, so I Trust his opinions, and haven’t been steered wrong yet

The 562XP would not only be, but has been my choice in a 60cc saw, haven’t regretted it yet, but then I haven’t regretted any of my Huskies yet

Almost 30 years, and IIRC 14 Husky saws, a leaf blower and a pressure washer, I have yet to EVER need the Husqvarna warranty, but I Stihl buy the 3 cans of premixed fuel, to double the warranty, that’s cheap, and the canned fuel is handy to have around

Would it not just be easier to sort out a list of saws to avoid buying ? Then money, comfort of use, dealer requirements ect. are personal decisions.

Correction, that is MY 14 saws, Leaf Blower and Pressure Washer, plus the Wife’s 445, for a total of 15 Husky saws, still have and use all of them (just not as much as I would like)

Stihl 362. Ive owned a 361 (earlier version of the 362) and cant say anything bad about it. Bought it barely used and it has served me well.
