As big as I can lift lol. Oak about 8". Lighter woods I'll go about 12" before I split them. Biggest round I've ever split was 54" Oak. That was a real treat.
Thanks Eric, I like that old 8N. It pulls cars into the shop, skids small logs on occasion, & disks several gardens in the spring. Always starts no matter how cold too. That little led pod really lights it up pretty well.
I played with her sister today.... ran two tanks through her... Those 044 just love to purr.... Did you get the 10mm?
Yep, that's really nice saw for the log deck. That's pretty much where it lives. Great power & 24" bar is the best bet for all around bucking here.
Well I am glad to see that. You know you had me wondering there for awhile. Nice pics. Really like your 8n. Nice straight sheet metal on it and clean. I have a 48, 8N here also that I use all the time. I also have a 74, Ford 2000 that gets used quite a bit too.
