Iowa Chops marinated just 3 hrs in the fridge - Gino's Restaurant Italian Dressing (Local 50 yr old legendary steakhouse/Italian joint on north side of town - it closed in 2012,after Gino Foggia died, family reopened it in same location in 2013 mainly olive oil,a little soybean oil,red wine vinegar, garlic, rosemary, basil, oregano.) I added some Herbs De Provence (dried French herbs, which contain the above plus sage, lavender, thyme, parsley),extra garlic & fresh ground black pepper. Local sweet corn, fried potatoes w/ onions & sweet peppers. And you can see the ice cold beverage of choice tonight 1 pork chop tonight,1 for tomorrow or Sunday & 1 for Monday sometime.
The sweet corn stand closed before the old lady could pick any up. Iowa chops are about my favourite pork chop.
You know it.Beef prices are unreal now only time I get any are with certain specials which is rare.Pork isn't too bad yet but had gone up a bit since 2012-13,Chicken so far is still quite reasonable. When things are on sale some weeks, when I can afford it I'll get several items for the freezer.
Yep, we've got a freezer full of discount meats that were close to their expiration date. If you freeze them, its ok. But the rabbits won't be ready for eating for a few more week.
