Hung around freezing here all day. Stiff west wind & just a bit of melting. Had maybe an inch of wet snow. Still at 32 even, Box Elder, Poplar, & Elm mixed in the boiler. Fans hardly ran today.

45F burning Lodgepole. Not loading before bedtime, as it's to warm in here. Supposed to be above freezing in the am.

Low of 30 but then the temp started going up. 36 now and 412 forecast. It's been a long time since we saw 40 here.

Now if we could just get some sunshine this snow would do some serious melting.

28 going up to 32. Snowing. 1 to 3" forecasted. Probably closer to 3. By the looks of the trees, that wind is kicking up it's heels.

This is the first winter I remember where Tok was warmer than Glennallen and Delta at different times.
Usually it's a few to a Lot of degrees colder .

Aspen and a stick of white spruce in the stove this morning

It's supposed to get up to + 20 here tomorrow. We'll see.

It has been a mild winter here also. Add to that benefit less than 1/2 the amount of snow compared to last year! :rootintootin::rootintootin:

Ya, last winter was quite a winter here. Didn't have any Extreme cold . but plenty of 40 below and Weeks and weeks of 30 below. Then it would warm up, snow a foot and drop right back down.
    This winter has been great.

I'll bet that really sounds good to you Tom. Spring is getting closer day by day now. We hit our first 40 degrees since...I don't remember the last time we had one. Not only that but we got to 45 and the sun came out big time this afternoon so we got some good melting today and it is not done yet.

I suspect the snow should go quickly this spring as most of it came as fluff so not much moisture there.

We made it up to 38* here today, and the sun shifted enough to be on my car though our driveway is on the north side of the house

    March prediction is 40's

It's 32.9 tonight with two splits of some not so great beech, red and sugar maple going in the wood stove.
