    Good morning, folks.

I'm taking dad to an eye appt this morning. Some grocery shopping after that.

Coffee tastes good from new coffee maker :coffee: I got a no-frills Mr Coffee. Not even a clock to set. No beep when finished brewing.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy

Sounds like ours. We recently picked up a Mr Coffee when the glass pot cracked. It was cheaper to buy a new one than it was to replace just the pot.
Same as you no clock , no beep when done. The one thing I do not like is no auto shutoff.
Just have to make sure it is turned off before leaving for work in the morning. Like I needed another thing to remember in the morning before work.

    Yeah - no auto shutoff.

I'll probably replace it with something that goes on sale. I'll save this new one, for trips where having 2 is to our advantage.

But, the dumber(not "smart") it is, the better. I don't need a phone app to stop/start a coffee pot.

Long time ago I bought a Mr. Coffee with an aluminum pot, just a 4-cup. Now every time the machine dies, we buy a new one and use the same old metal pot.

Good morning everyone! Yesterday was just busy enough. Today they are promising 43°! I need to empty ashes and bring in more wood. I'm looking forward to stomping around outdoors. I'll chip the ice off the back deck too.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. Have a great day on the water, Brandon. Hope your hectic day goes smoothly, buzz-saw.
Glad you can spend some time with your dad, Mike. Enjoy every minute.
Kevin, hope your day is smooth and your knee doesn't hurt.
I start back on nights, so got a couple errands to do this morning. Woke up early, about 3:45€, we fell asleep on the couch, back was hurting and my feet were COLD...lol...Fire had gone out, 34° outside, it was 68 in here. Had to go get some kindling. Got a nice fire going now, about 75° and feet thawing out...lol... 0223210630.jpg
Looks like I have another chore to do...box is about empty 0223210630a.jpg

I actually showed up in the AM today. Good morning! OJ was good. I finished assembly of the new Husky backpack blower last night. Fueled and fired it up. Should make cleanup much quicker. Also put new custom fit floor mats in the farm truck. I've had it for 2 years so I figured it deserved a little pampering. Supposed to hit 40* today. Snow is gradually going away. Maybe I can get the splitter back in the wood yard this weekend!

Good morning, brother. Glad the OJ hit the spot. I have the Husky hand held blower and the blower on the Stihl combo unit. Don't have a backpack unit yet.

Morning All. Sun trying to peek out but I think rain is on the way again. Good trip yesterday. I wore a wool sweater and socks as on the last trip I got cold. Acck! the sun came up and the cab of the truck really warmed up. Sat in the sun in the restaurant so we could keep an eye on the dogs and without thinking ordered hot tea. I was melting. Dogs loved the warmth.

curling and book work today. would be nice to get to the sewing room. We unloaded the back of the truck this morning and it doesn't look like much when you buy it and put it into the truck but when it is all piled up outside the storage room, you wonder where you are going to put it all.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good afternoon everybody. About 30 out and that is where we sit. Had a couple deer browsing on the bushes. Didn't get a chance for a pic. One spotted me and ended up walking away. The other one didn't see but was behind some other. Chaz spooked as he left for work. The one I seen yesterday and the one today looked real healthy. Glad to see that.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay healthy and stay safe.

Good afternoon! I've had a little Black & Decker cordless for a few years. It does OK all things considered. But I like to blow out my pole barn and keep all 400' of my concrete driveway clean. Plus I clean off the mower every time I use it. And I wanted something powerful enough to dry cars after I wash them. Poor little B&D didn't have quite enough battery to do everything. I've been watching the Husky on Amazon for a while. I found an open box item fairly cheap and I had some credit so I pulled the trigger. It's nowhere near as cool as your new grapple but I'll use it quite a bit.

We were up to the low 40’s here in southern Michigan. Got some firewood today and heading back for my second load, it was pretty slushy. Got the load quick and back out before it softened up too much more. More of the same for the next couple weeks. Should be getting pretty darn muddy:hair::doh: Going to try and get out just after sunrise tomorrow to try and get another out before it gets too soft. We’ll see what happens! Sounds like you’ve made some good use of your downtime. It’ll pay off once some of that snow disappears:thumbs:

Always fun having the wildlife near the house. We’ve had a few white tails moving through our property at first and last light on their way to feed. Some winter entertainment!

That answers my previous question. Love spearing! Not the greatest here is southern Michigan any more. Drove out to devils lake in North Dakota 2 years ago. Had a great time! Skipped last year, but will probably return next winter. A couple we took!
