Good afternoon everybody. Don't worry about being late today, I am always late out here Jeff.
Good thing you caught those fish Brandon. You need to put that new sealer to work.
About 30/32 today. Little melting going on. Clear blue skies. Tomorrow will be looking at 40.
    Have a great day all.
    Stay safe and stay healthy.
Edit: Chaz took Holly for a run a little bit ago. Told me that we had a flock of robins in the driveway. Don’t know what they will find to eat. Snow is up to Holly's belly.
Chaz said he seen a high of 47 for tomorrow. I like that. It will be down to upper 20's the next day. Glaf to see that as it will slow down the melting. Hopefully no flooding.

I’m gonna wear it out! I got 1000 8x12 bags for $68....compared to Foodsaver bags that’s a steal. That’s where the savings come. It will even reseal ziplock bags thermally.

Amazon. They WILL NOT work in a Foodsaver type machine. Totally different concept.

We have a small chest freezer and don't like it. But can't complain. We got this probably in 2008 used for 50 bucks from a coworker. Seems whatever you want is always on the bottom and you have to move everything out of the way.
    Dang that is not good.

My grandma had the same problem. She used to freeze fish in old paper milk cartons. When we cleaned out her house we found one in the freezer with a picture of the Lindbergh baby on the back...

It was filled with the filllets frozen in water right. Remember seeing that as a kid.

I unboxed it yesterday and was looking for something to seal. I ended up using a pepper mill, dang near crushed it. I grabbed my 380 LCP first but was afraid it might go off...LOL

Might just do a short YouTube vid this week.

Nice morning on the lake. Fish were active ahead of a falling barometer. Took a couple smaller pike for dinner.

New ice removed from hole was about 12" in depth after the deep freeze over the last few weeks.

My mom once reached in her parents freezer for ice cream, and came up with a dead chinchilla! My grandfather raised them for a time.

Morning all. Coffee is really good. There is a serious minnow shortage in these parts. The ice storm in the center of the country kept bait farms from delivering. I bought the last half pound I could find yesterday. They are bigger than I like but I shall persevere. I had both minnow buckets with me so I called an old friend in Plant City to see if he was coming fishing today. Sure enough. I picked him up a half pound too. His name is Bernie. He was/is in the food service industry. He always brings me 3 lb bags of jumbo peeled shrimp. I make sure he always knows where the fish are located.

Minnows for shrimp? Sounds like a good exchange to me!

    Good morning, everyone.

A bit of sloppy weather today.

I hope to get a few errands run this morning before it starts snowing/raining.

The coffee pot stopped short of a full pot. Not responding to any switches. :( Time for a new one, it seems.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
