    What is that little round metal part that makes the Blazer blinkers click? I cannot remember the name to order one.

    I was going to say window crank so you could stick your arm out for hand signals. I have a tendency to do those a lot these days. Normally not left, right, or stop though.

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Brake lights still work, I use hand signals in town at 30 mph, too darn windy and cold at 70 mph. Front passenger lens has been broke like 10 times over the years, then snow/rain pops the bulb and the flasher. I found a new lens to order but thought I could get by with packing tape and a new bulb and flasher til it arrives. You'd never guess, turn signal on the FJ is broke too, previous owner had used epoxy but gave out. Pick up tranny leak being repaired next week, drop off FJ and drive pick up back home. Blaze, well, we'll see if kiddo and I go to town on Sunday.

    I’m actually looking at an old square body Blazer. 75-79, not sure of the exact year yet. Old farmer passed in the fall, I’m trying to get in touch with his kids about buying it. Just been sitting there for years but looks solid from what I’ve seen so far. Looks like a fun project. It is the removable hard top model.

    Ooooh, WWW had a 79' when we met, we never should have sold it, it was super solid, more than my 81'. Square body, removable hard top, manual tranny. Do it soon and also keep your eye out for auctions like some kids do here when parents pass on or it will be gone before you can blink.

    Nothing will happen until the snow melts and the ground dries up. May at the earliest. They did a bunch of cleaning up in he fall but haven’t touched anything since about November. Haven’t even plowed the driveway out.

    Texted WWW to sell the FJ, :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

    Tired of putting $$ into it when is sucks in the wind (add frequent ground blizzards). When is NOT windy out here? I'd rather fix the weather stripping in the Blaze for my bus mobile and the GMC for town.

    Glad to hear that you're getting that tranny issue resolved before it morphs into something much larger! You know how they can be....just throwing more and more $$ into them!
