Shallow fried crappie fillets are top notch grub in my book.

 

Pretty hard to beat but I like bluegill a skosh more...

 

Never eaten a bluegill. I will have to give it a try.

 

Nothing he has a 4 day weekend. He spent a couple of hours studying. Then took a run to the store and from there to the Indians for smokes and gas. He played his game for a while. He just got back from taking Holly for another run.

when i was a kid i used to catch blue gills and pumkinseed SF close to shore. Havent fished in years. Fond memories!

 

Afternoon All. It has been a busy two days. Stayed at Mom's for a couple of nights so we could get the dentist trip in around the ferry schedule. Road trip saw sunshine, rain, sleet and snow. Today sunshine, rain and a couple of flurries of snow.

Morning all. No fishing today, a bit chilly and windy. Supposed to end up a nice day though. Going over to Winter Haven about noon to have lunch with friends at the Asian buffet. Nice place. Stay warm.

Yes Brandon Scott! Good morning everyone. It is 1f here now. Just got the fire burning hot again. Heading out to the lake soon for the 2nd to last day of the winter spearing season. I will probably pull the house off the ice tomorrow afternoon. Its been a good season.

We're closing in on about 48hrs of snow. Guessing a total of about 7in. Looks like a snow management day.

I did get the majority of my camping stuff cleaned and moved to basement storage.

I can relate ! Forecast called for it to end yesterday late morning ; well it finally ended around 10 or 11 last night. Only off by 12 hours or so. I should know better than to listen to them anyway.
Quick clean-up here this morning , breakfast with the wife ( her birthday ) then off to work. Any snow that is left when I get home I will deal with it then.

Good morning to all! Very happy to get to the weekend. Brutal week of work because of weather.
Going to chill out and do whatever I feel like. If that means doing nothing then so be it. Cuz I'm tuff.
Of coarse there may have to be some compromise with my wife. Just saying. Have a great day everyone!
