Wood stove tax credit?

    This may help answer some questions.

    I didn't research too far, as I thought that since the stove was used only for a sauna and not for heating entire house it wouldn't qualify, but didn't find anything about it. I'm sure there are guidelines somewhere showing just what qualifies for credit.

    Not knowing how much you paid for stove (and not needing to know) would it be worth it to apply for credit? Looks like it may be around 25%......

    No...sauna stoves are not required to be tested...so it would not qualify for the tax credit, that credit applies only to things that heat the home, and are at least 75% (I think) efficient as certified during the EPA test (and will be listed as such on the website.
