    We had a low 2.6 degrees this morning, more beech is going in the liberty.

    Overnight we used the pellet stove (one bag) and the wood stove with ironwood and beech, downstairs was 85 this morning with the temp upstairs at 72. I didn't check the floors with the IR gun but they're usually 74 or 75 degrees.

    It was 5 above zero this morning. First time in a couple weeks the temps didn't fall below zero overnight. Long range forecast is for 40 on the 26th. With temps warming up, I won't have to run the oil furnace as much:thumbs::thumbs:

    19F here, wind died down for now, feels pretty good. Low teens is all for lows. Boiler loaded with Oak & Elm. More snow tomorrow & Sunday, then the big warm up!

    20 here and snowing lightly, we've got an inch so far, quick go buy some bread and milk!:picard:Just added Pine, Hard Maple, and Soft Maple splits to the coals. It will be Sugar and Oak from then on.

    Only down to 19 last night! Seems good to have it warmer in the morning. Took trash and recycling out and thought about staying out there as it felt so good. But, I came in to eat breakfast anyway. Will be going out again soon.
