Power outage is a given in an ice storm, so firewood sales are booming. Delivered a load after work and when I got home had one waiting in the driveway. Guy asked if he got a discount for helping to load. I pointed to the stack and said that’s all the rtb I got left and you are getting pure white oak splits. Enjoy your hot fire when the power is out. Goes in the 500i piggy bank.

I only have so much room upstairs for acronyms. Forgive me, what's RTB?

Ready to burn. Someone else is on the way for a load. I’ll have a little walking around money this weekend.

Now have an 8:30 tonight wood pick up appointment. Gonna have to be a 30min past my bedtime surcharge on that load. Sheesh, I’ll be tapping into my private reserve before the nights out. :makeitrain"

My best friend lives in My Airy, I’m sure he’s familiar with your neighborhood.
Yeah it’s going to be a white knuckle day tomorrow.

Our sales are crazy now too, for this area. Got 1 customer with OWB, he's gotten 2 loads in 2 weeks, wants another in 2 weeks. It's really helping us out, because we can use this random size huge oak we got back in the summer 1008201229_HDR.jpg 1008201007_HDR.jpg

First time I've ever seen one like that.
Yep, we could, but it was about 24" long, and that older gentlemen could use it better in his OWB. He is our only customer that has one, so big gnarly stuff, pieces that are too long, we try to set aside for him. We have plenty of short chunks and uglies for us...
