Feeling forgotten once more? Even if I didn’t want to heat with wood any more, it’s too late. CSS firewood is an outlet/coping mechanism for all this chit that’s going on!
EDIT: Political discussions, wether intended or not are not why I come here.. deleted my previous post.
Read an article a while back that the storms in the gulf did a lot of damage to the oil rigs but due to the low demand it did not cause any shortages, when demand picks back up there will be a price to pay for sure.
Im not sure control is a political discussion. I suspect govt's all around the globe Want control, as do big time money people, people in any position of power, weather govt or business..... Folks in power who have authority or money, or have one to make the other, want to secure that long term. I'd put coffee on it that no one party wants that more than any other. Hoarding hard. Sca
Yes, but a decrease in fuel prices doesn't ever equal a drop in price of those same products. I remember gas at $4 a gallon and then recently gas was almost half that. Didn't see one decrease in price of anything else.
Vividly recall shopping for gas in '08 - cheapest I could get was on the way to/home from my future wife's house... $4.099. That was 10-15 cents cheaper than near my house...
Current crude price is not sustainable for producers. It will go up, regardless of who is or is not in power.
I just got a gas buddy alert that gas was going to be going up another 10-20 cents per gallon. Great. This is due to the cold weather in the south. I guess they can't produce in the low temps and refineries are shut down.
I have paid 4.60 a gallon in the 2000's. damm! This last drop in prices, I paid 1.18. Now that was nice!!!!!!
With price fluctuation always interesting to look at prices adjusted for inflation. Here’s a set of charts to keep in perspective: Gasoline Prices Adjusted for Inflation | US Inflation Calculator Also interesting piece from Forbes: How High Are Gasoline Prices Really? It's A Matter Of Perspective.
